ATN WINS THE CANADIAN RIGHTS FOR INDIA VS BANGLADESH CRICKET

TORONTO, CANADA May 10, 2007, Asian Television Network International Limited (ATN) (TSX-SAT), Canada’s pioneer South Asian Broadcaster and Canada’s largest Distributor of World Class Cricket announces it has secured the Canadian Broadcast Rights for the cricket matches between India and Bangladesh commencing May 9th 2007. The India Bangladesh matches will be shown live on CBN across Canada and rebroadcast on ATN-Cricket Plus. The matches include ODI’s and test matches.
These games between India and Bangladesh take on an added importance to international cricket fans with Bangladesh’s upset victory over India at the recently completed 2007 World Cup. Each team has a number of their World Cup players participating in this series as well as some outstanding young players keen for international recognition.
