ATN ANNOUNCES RECORD YEAR END RESULTS

NEWMARKET ONTARIO, CANADA March 21, 2006, Asian Television Network International Limited (ATN)(The Company)(TSX-SAT), today announced financial results for the year ended December 31, 2005. The Company had a record year Revenue of $7,269,400, a 51.1% increase over 2004. Net earnings from operations for 2005 were also record breaking at $1,460,995 and exceeding 2004 by $1,006,615 or 221.5%. This was also our third consecutive year of positive net earnings. In addition, net earnings after income taxes, includes a non-cash $2,662,000 future income tax recovery. The final earnings for the year are $4,122,995 as compared to December 31, 2004 of $454,380.

ATN is Canada’s largest South Asian Broadcaster and also Canada’s largest Distributor of World Class Cricket. ATN operates twelve specialty channels including a general interest analog service, 2 movie channels, a news channel in English, several regional language channels, and a channel with lots of live cricket from around the world.
In 2005, ATN was awarded additional licenses by the CRTC. The new channels will compliment the existing channels of ATN, which has programming alliances with major international broadcasters.
