ATN REPORTS OUTSTANDING FINANCIAL RESULTS

TORONTO October 20th, 2005: (ATN) (TSX Venture-SAT) Asian Television Network is pleased to announce our eleventh consecutive quarter of positive net earnings. “We believe that this trend of increasing net earnings for the company through our outstanding growth in revenue and cost control over the past 3 years is now long term “ said Mr. Shan Chandrasekar President and CEO of ATN.

This trend of positive increasing earnings for the company is the result of Management’s focus on maintaining the growth of our sources of revenue, our Canadian subscriber and advertising base by creative, interesting, fascinating and varied programming which is the key to our continuing success.

Our revenues for the nine months ending September 30th, 2005 were $4,966,063 as compared to $3,536,586 for the first nine months of 2004, a 140.4 % increase. Equally outstanding is our 9 months 2005 revenue equals the 12 months revenue for all of 2004. Earnings before amortization and financial expense (also known as EBITDA) illustrate, the significant financial success that management has achieved. For the nine months ending September 30,2005 EBITDA was $1,558,889 or 6.5 cents per share, compared with $734,647 or 3.1 cents per share for the same period last year, an astounding 212.2% year over year increase.

ATN owns and or operates eleven channels: at our our flagship channel, ATN-ZEE, with the best of ZEE TV programming, ATN – ZEE Cinema, ATN – ZEE Gujarati, ATN- Aastha, ATN Bangla, ATN- B4U, ATN-Alpha ETC Punjabi, ATN-Jaya TV, ATN-ARY, CBN, and Sony Entertainment Television. ATN is the largest distributor of World Class Cricket across Canada.
